Maternity & Nursing Bra Calculator

Estimate a current maternity or nursing bra starting point from your present measurements, with stage-specific fit considerations.

How this maternity starting point is calculated

The size estimate uses your current underbust and bust measurements with the same measurement-based starting method used by the main calculator. The pregnancy or postpartum stage changes the fit guidance, not the underlying size calculation.

  1. Band: current underbust is converted to the calculator's reference units and mapped to the nearest even band.
  2. Cup: current bust minus underbust is rounded to a whole-inch cup index and mapped to the US cup sequence.
  3. Stage: the selected stage supplies practical guidance about adjustability and remeasurement; it does not add an assumed number of inches or cup sizes.

Pregnancy and postpartum measurements can change over time, so treat the result as a current starting point and check the specific nursing-bra manufacturer's chart and fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about sizing methods, measurements, and fit considerations.

When is the best time to buy nursing bras?

There is no single best week for everyone. Current measurements, comfort, planned use, and the specific manufacturer's sizing guidance are more useful than a fixed pregnancy week. Body measurements can change during pregnancy and after delivery, so recheck fit as needed.
